About BPJ
The Berkeley Planning Journal (BPJ) is a peer-reviewed scholarly publication, which has been produced by UC Berkeley’s City & Regional Planning PhD cohort since 1984. Published annually, BPJ offers a collection of innovative and research-oriented articles on contemporary topics in planning and urbanism. Authors include students, faculty, and others in the Berkeley planning community, as well as scholars and practitioners from other institutions. BPJ's publication metrics are available from Scopus.
The Urban Fringe, BPJ’s blog, is focused on planning practice and is intended as a space of exchange and dialogue between emerging planning scholars and the planning community.
